This season will be our 13th Anniversary for guided dove hunts.
Dove hunts this year will be over grain fields once again. This years hunts will be over corn, Milo, planted sunflowers and wheat fields that were grazed but not harvested. Birds are on their third or fourth clutch (hatch). Weather looks promising as no floods or heavy rains are forecasted. Fields are being cut for harvest right now.
Dove hunts are offered in September and October. You can book one or more people. Hunts are scheduled for morning or evening. We hunt over milo, millet, corn, wheat or water. You should bring your own bucket or stool for the hunt, flash light for morning hunts, bug repellent, gun and ammo. Hunts are $50.00 per person. License requirements are a OK hunting license from the Wildlife Department call 1-800-949-6392, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. till 4:30p.m. (Visa or MasterCard only. Allow for mailing time to receive your license). Prime season is February thru June. I begin booking Walleye/Saugeye fishing trips in late January. Walleye and Saugeye caught in the early spring can be of tremendous size. All walleye bait, graphite walleye rods, northland fishing tackle and equipment is provided. You must however bring raingear and any cold weather gear. License requirements are a OK fishing license from the Wildlife Department by calling 1-800-949-6392, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. till 4:30p.m. (Visa or MasterCard only. Allow for mailing time to receive your license). You can also purchase them online at this link http://www.wildlifedepartment.com/onlinesales/onlinesalesintro.asp The cost for a non-resident license is $18.50 for five days, $37.00 for an annual, and a FHL permit which is $5.00. Reservations should be made well in advance. Cost per person is $85.00 tax included.
Prime season is Mid November thru January. I provide all goose decoys, goose calls, and blind material. Geese usually taken are Canada's, lesser and mediums. Occasionally some giant Canada's are taken. We also take quite a few Snow Geese, Blue Geese and Specks. If conditions permit we also take a lot of ducks. License requirements are a OK hunting license from the Wildlife Department by calling 1-800-949-6392, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. till 4:30p.m. (Visa or MasterCard only. Allow for mailing time to receive your license). Sandhill Crane hunting pictures
Prime season for sandhill begins in November and lasts thru December. I provide all sandhill crane decoys, calls, and blind material. License requirements are a OK hunting license from the Wildlife Department by calling 1-800-949-6392, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. till 4:30p.m. (Visa or MasterCard only. Allow for mailing time to receive your license). Non resident is $42.50 for five days, $137.00 for an annual, a sandhill crane permit which you can obtain at the above numbers for $3.00 and a HIP permit which is $3.00, FHL permit which is $5.00. You must have a Oklahoma hunting license, and both a Federal waterfowl stamp, and a Oklahoma state waterfowl permit. The stamp and permit are not required but many types of waterfowl sometimes also land in the decoys. Reservations should be made well in advance. The cost per person is $110.00 per hunt.
Duck Hunts
Duck hunting is offered in season only. Majority of ducks harvested are mallards, pintails, gadwall, widgeon, teal. All blinds or blind material, decoys, calls are provided. Hunts are over leased fields consisting of Milo, corn or peanuts, water tanks, ponds. You may book one to ten people for duck hunting. Hunts are in the morning or afternoon. License requirements are a OK hunting license from the Wildlife Department by calling 1-800-949-6392, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. till 4:30p.m. (Visa or MasterCard only. Allow for mailing time to receive your license).
